Faststream’s official launch party to celebrate the opening of the groups Asia Pacific headquarters has been held at the Metropolitan Hotel, Park Lane on January 18th 2008.
Guests from the UK’s shipping community helped Faststream celebrate the company’s third stage of international expansion in true Singaporean style. While guests sipped ‘Singapore Sling’ cocktails everyone was entertained by a traditional Singapore Lion Dance.
The launch of Faststream Recruitment Pte Ltd, which opened its doors on January 21st 2008 completes a trio of regional launches in as many years. Faststream, whose global base is located in Southampton, UK, opened its USA regional headquarters in Miami in 2006 and Scandinavian operations in Oslo the following year (2007).
Faststreams VP Asia Pacific, Mark Robertshaw commented: “It was a fantastic turn-out and it’s excellent to see so many people help celebrate the occasion. The Asia Pacific market is booming and the response from clients and candidates upon the news of our launch have been extremely positive. We will be celebrating the launch in similar style back in Singapore over the next few weeks”.
