Faststream Shipping consultants Jenna Coles and James Clewer had the honour of joining Svitzer in a trip that delivered the new Cunard liner, the Queen Victoria to her home in Southampton.

The arrival of the much anticipated cruise liner drew in the crowds with hundreds of people watching from the edge of the Southampton water to view this memorable occasion.

The day started at 7:30am as Faststream joined the crew onboard Svitzers tug ‘The Sussex’ and embarked to the mouth of Southampton water. The Queen Victoria was then welcomed with a water display before mooring alongside the Mayflower Terminal.

Faststream’s James Clewer commented: “Faststream have a strong relationship with Svitzer and this was an excellent opportunity to experience first hand the operations of one of their vessels on a particularly marked occasion”.
