The role
Incumbent will report to the Managing Director, and will be put in charge of driving the business development activities for sustainable cities and urban solutions for South East Asia and Pacific region.
1. Business Development: Map the market and explore possible application areas. Assess, evaluate, prospect and develop new business opportunities;
2. Market Development: Build relationships with key stakeholders. Act as an interface for users of clean technology and creators of clean technology applications;
3. Capacity Building: As an expert bringing sector specific knowledge, harness existing capabilities with the global organization for pursuing regional growth opportunities and to attract and build new capabilities in the organization;
4. Project Management: Leverage the company’s capabilities to open new opportunities and deliver projects;
The person
• The person must be passionate about green urban solutions with a strong and proven track record of thought leadership on urban infrastructure management;
• Build strong client relationships in industrial settings in Singapore and the region (e.g. Electrical Vehicle System, Smart and Grid Solutions);
• Possess exposure and knowledge of policy analysis for sustainable urban solutions attained either in a government or research linked position or as a senior team member of a consulting organization;
• Accustomed to complex solution selling and have experience in managing sales targets;
• Remarkable interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Proactive and efficient in managing multiple tasks;
• Strong academic credentials (preferably with at least a basic engineering qualification) required and tertiary education in related field preferred.
