The role
Due to continued growth of DNV’s activities in Korea, they are currently seeking project team members and projects managers to join their experienced team.
You will be provided with extensive training which will take the form of ‘hands on’ at the shipyard and a more formal academic training. Your key responsibility will be to follow your assigned projects from concept through to delivery, conducting surveys and providing technical guidance.
The person
Our client requires Naval Architects and Electrical Engineers with a shipyard background, with experience of either newbuild, conversions or ship repair projects. Previous experience working for a class society is highly desirable.
It is essential that you posses excellent verbal & written communication skills
You should have the following:
• Degree qualification in Naval Architecture or Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience within newbuild, conversions or ship repairs
• Good communication skills and the ability to build good client relationships
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
